General Public Restaurant Review

What's the happiest hour? The one with great drinks, great food, and great people to enjoy them with! Located in the City Centre there's a really cool restaurant and bar called The General Public where you can enjoy all three for some pretty great prices. If you haven't already, add this place to your must try list now! Here's why...

Happy Hour

Their Happy Hour specials are to be rivaled by all other restaurants. Not sure how much the drinks are? Just look at the time

3pm- $3 cocktails

4pm- $4 cocktails

5pm- $5 cocktails

And they are good yal! No premixed bull, these are some genuine handcrafted cocktails! You don't have to break the bank to enjoy. I've been a couple times after work with my co-worker friends and no one had any complaints. Between the 5 of us, we've pretty much tried the entire drink menu!

This place is surely a looker! It seems that every single detail was taken into account. There is something for you to see from left to right and up and down. Throughout the restaurant is sort of a vintage baroque meets modern theme and I love it! The entire pace is a vibe, even the bathrooms.

The Food

Not only are the drinks really great and extremely affordable, but the food is amazing! I once had the Honey Fried Chicken back to back in one visit because it was just that good! They aren't just serving mediocre bar bites, the food is actually flavorful and the portions are of a nice size.

The Staff

The team at G.P are extremely knowledgeable! They are well trained on all the dishes and drinks that they offer snd they do such a great job getting their guest to try new items. In addition to that, they great about inviting you back to enjoy their other offering like Saturday and Sunday Brunch!

The G. P is among many other cool places in the City Centre Area. You could stop here for drinks and have dinner at one of the other near by restaurants. Or even take stroll and work off all the good food you've eaten. City Centre is building more and more daily so there is always something new to try in the area
