Create and Cultivate 2019 Houston Style Summit

On June 1, 2019, I had the pleasure of attending The Create and Cultivate Houston Style Summit for the first time and I truly did enjoy myself! Not only did I learn from the speakers, but my biggest observation was the flow and production of the overall event!

For those who may not know, event and party planning is deep in my blood! From organizing small family gatherings growing up to now hosting friends for a themed night of fun, I truly enjoy putting together a seamless event for others to enjoy. For this reason, I pay close attention to the events that I attend and how much thought and attention to detail is put into all of the elements and the C&C team killed it!

They held no stops for making sure this event was a true EXPERIENCE! The floral arrangements, furniture Fengshui, photo installations, pampering stations, and my goodness the open bar and snacks! They had something to pique everyone’s interest and they made sure that their sponsors were closely aligned with the theme of the event (I often see many events drop the ball on this detail). There were women in the building from all walks of life, ethnicities, and career paths. Even the panelist showed the most diversity I've seen at a large scale content creator event.

Guests were able to mix and mingle over complimentary drinks, hair styling, makeup application, and photo ops at the instagramable C&C Custom installations. We were welcomed with goodie bags filled with cool treats from the sponsors like tons of discounts, eye shadows, mascaras, and hair care products. They even had an artist to add custom art to your denim jacket! The speakers included Agatha Ashiofu, Sarah Adam Hafez, Lee Anne Benjamin, Jaserah Asadullah, and Courtney Kerr on the Panel discussing their journey as content creators and businesswomen; moderated by Carrie Colbert. As well as Audrina Patridge and Jaclyn Johnson in conversation about business mishaps and tips, and a live makeup tutorial by Jamie Greenberg (Model Brittany Puerto)
