The Hotel Za Za Memorial City: Inside Scoop
The Summer months are filled with vacations and new adventures. Many of us are making plans to travel to distant lands and even enjoy some local summer fun. The Hotel Za Za Memorial City occupies a supreme piece of Houston Real Estate and is among many of Memorial City’s great destinations for events, dining, and luxury experiences. This past month, I had the honor of attending Hotel Za Za’s Open House which gave me the exclusive look into the countless amenities and offerings of its mid-century modern oasis!
The Place
The Hotel first opened in December of 2017 and has since become home to Houston’s most premier weddings, business travelers, events, and out of town guest! Walking in and around the grounds is like bearing witness to the love child of a museum curator and pop-culture enthusiast. Each space and it’s decor speaks style and sophistication in the most magical way!
Atop the Hotel lives the McCarthy Apartment Homes which breath aesthetics that closely resemble the Hotel Za Za! These luxury apartments are To be rivaled by all! Amenities include (but aren’t limited to), a Sky Lounge, Resort Style Pool with private cabanas, and a private fitness center with classes such as Yoga! If that isn’t enough to make you want to move in, residents are able to enjoy all the perks of a Hotel Za Za guest without ever having to leave home!
The Rooms
The Hotel houses 159 spacious guest rooms which include several concept suites whose themes allow you to travel while you sleep! You guys know I LIVE for a themed anything haha! A few of my favorites were Breathless, Asian Beauty, and Passage to India. And even though the suits were truly spectacular, the standard rooms were just a s welcoming. Ample amounts of floor space, large working desk with multiple outlets for all your electronics, and best of all a well lit vanity style mirror!
The Highlights
Resorts are known for boundless amounts of amenities and offerings and pride themselves on providing their guests with everything they could imagine. This is why the Hotel Za Za is more than just an overnight stay, it’s an oasis! You can enjoy a pleasurable escape at the Za Spa; dine in at The Tipping Point; Or chill in a Cabana at The Beach Club. The Cost
Hotel Za Za has a ton of overnight Packages that are customizable to their guests vacation needs. A Standard Guestroom is around $200+ and is equipped with nothing less than a King Size Bed!
